HP® LaserJet® P1505, M1120/M1522

The monochrome P1505 was released in November 2007 followed by the M1120 and M1522 MFP April 2008. All three are host-based printers , meaning the print job is rendered by the computer it is connected to rather than in the printer itself. This allows the printer to perform with less memory, which reduces the initial price of the machine. The print speed changes as the content of the document increases and relative to the processing speed of the host computer.

The printers print up to 8000 pages per month, also known as a duty cycle.The M1120 MFP prints at up to 20ppm while the P1505 and M1522 MFP print up to 24ppm.The MFP versions print, copy and scan, but do not have fax capability.

Printers are packaged with an “introductory” cartridge that yields approximately one thousand pages. The cartridge label states in small print "Introductory Cartridge",
